Discounts: Wholesale and Brigade prices for several items on this list are available upon request. Merchants wishing to receive a wholesale list must send a copy of their State Retail Merchant's Certificate. Brigades and organizations wishing to receive discounts must send their request on Group Letterhead or with some other tangible proof of group status. Organizations requesting Brigade Discounts should have no fewer than 3 members. Member names and signatures are required with proof of group status, and members should note their group affiliation when placing an order in order to receive a discount. Gift Certificates: Gift Certificates in the form of an early trade company note, together with our latest catalog, are available by providing us with the recipient's name and address along with prepayment in the amount of the gift. We ship by the United States Postal Service unless otherwise requested. Backorders: As a rule most items listed in our catalog are either in stock or are in the process of being restocked when a customer’s order is received, and those items which require extra delivery time are noted in our product descriptions. Usually we can ship standard retail orders within 1 to 3 working days of receiving the order, but given the nature of our operation and the wares we sell we ask that our customers please plan well in advance of their needs and please bear with us in the event that we must backorder certain items. Shipments Lost or Damaged In Transit: On prepaid orders a claim must filed with the carrier by the customer. If a parcel is received that appears damaged it is highly advisable to check for damaged contents immediately before signing for it. Blue Heron Mercantile is responsible for filing with the carrier for lost or damaged shipments not prepaid by the customer ( C.O.D. net 15, net 30 ). Wrong Items: Wrong items shipped are the responsibility of Blue Heron Mercantile. We’ll cover any expenses necessary in correcting our error, but please contact us before returning an item so that we may issue a pickup order. Wrong items ordered are the responsibility of the customer, who must cover the expense of returning the item for exchange or refund. Defective or Damaged Items: Items shipped defective or damaged, items that suffer unusual damage or wear under normal use, or items otherwise covered under warranty may be returned at Blue Heron’s expense. Please contact us before sending items back, as we generally issue a pickup order through our carrier on returns. Items damaged or worn thru normal use may not be returned unless otherwise covered by warranty.
