Thomas FLOWER m. Prudence PUSEY about 1769 after the death of her first husband, Elijah HARBOUR in Pittsylvania Co, VA. Thomas, and his in-laws, Robert PUSEY and Magdalena VAN METER moved to Bourbon County, KY via Montgomery County, VA.
Thomas is found on many land deeds along with a John HUNT until they had a falling out and sued each other over some land. Thomas FLOWER was the original land speculator, buying and selling land. He doesn't seem too good at it, as he sold many parcels for less than he bought them for. He bought the "Big" land deal when he bought 60,000 acres along the Wabash River in Indiana and Illinois. Unfortunately, the deal was declared illegal, as the sellers didn't really have the right to sell the land. He spent the rest of his life trying to reverse the original decision. Thomas had 10 daughters and no sons according to one history, but we have a deed listing a son, William, and a male 16-18 is found in 1798 and 1799 in Bourbon County, KY.
In 1803, Thomas sells all his possesions to Robert PUSEY and William is found in Warren County, KY along with William & Anna FLOWER NASH.
