2. John McCUNE Jr. Born in 1729. John died in Newton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania about March 1793; he was 64.

In October 1776 when John was 47, he married Mary SHARPE, daughter of Thomas SHARPE (1722-) & Margaret ELDER, in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Born in July 1748 in Pennsboro Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Mary died in Newton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania after 1803; she was 54. [1]

They had the following children:

7 ii. Andrew (1750-1803)
iii. David. Born circa 1752. David died in Kentucky after 1799; he was 47.
iv. John. Born in 1781. [1]
v. Robert. Born in 1782 in Newton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [1] Robert died after 1793; he was 11.
vi. Susanna. Born circa 1756. Susanna died after 1793; she was 37.
before 1793 when Susanna was 37, she married John BARR. John died about 1793.
vii. Margaret. Born in 1764.
Margaret married George? WEIR.
viii. Mary. Born circa 1785. Mary died in Lewis County, Kentucky in 1849; she was 64.
ix. William. Born circa 1787.

3. Robert McCUNE. Born circa 1732 in Ireland. Robert died in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania before 1778; he was 46.

circa 1759 when Robert was 27, he married Isabella BRADY. Born circa 1739. Isabella died in 1791; she was 52.

They had the following children:

ii. Robert. Born in 1765.
circa 1788 when Robert was 23, he married Jane.
9 iii. Elizabeth (?) (ca1768-<1818)
10 iv. Hugh (1772-1828)

vi. Samuel. Born about 1775. Samuel died after 1789; he was 14.

4. James McCUNE. Born circa 1740 in Newton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. LDS file lists birthdate as "about 1745.". James died in Newton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania about May 1777; he was 37.

circa 1765 when James was 25, he married Abigail MILLER, in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Born about 1747. Abigail died after May 1777; she was 30.

They had the following children:
i. Margaret. Born about 1763. Margaret died after 1777; she was 14. Resided in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
Margaret married Nathaniel McBRIER.

13 iii. John (~1774-1836)
