Am making a new wagon bed and am bending it into a simple 'boat' shape. Got newly sawed 1" pint oak boards at a local sawmill and ship lapped them. Set them in barn on 2 points with some weights in middle to take the shape needed. Does anyone know what will happen after the boards have dried out in about a year, and weight is removed? Will bend stay as is under the weight or spring back some? And if so how much. Have never done anything like this before and unsure what to expect.
